Education
He graduated in Electrical Supply and Equipment from the Technical University /High Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering/ in Sofia.
He has done a post-graduate paper on topic Management of Sales of Machines and Devices on the International Market at the University of National and World Economy /Karl Marks High Institute of Economy/, Sofia as well as a number of specializations in the country and abroad.
Professional Experience
In 1978 he started his working activity in International Trade Company Electroimpex as a specialist in export of high voltage equipment. By 1986 he was a Director of department Re-export, Specific and Processing Operations.
From 1986 to 1989 he was a Managing Director of Elma Motors Ltd., Malta, whose core activity is production of electrical motors. He stabilized the financial state of the company and popularized the plant’s production on four continents.
In May 1989 he became the First Deputy General Director of International Trade Company Electroimpex. He occupied this position as well as the position of Id General Director by 1991.
In 1991 he founded the private companies Lexim Ltd, Vienna, Lexim Sole Ltd, Sofia and Dan Make Sole Ltd and became their Managing Director. Their core activity is international trade, investment and production.
He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Assarel-Medet JSC since July 9, 1999 as a representative of Voest Alpine Intertrading, Austria and he was elected for its chairman in 2005.
He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Assarel-Invest JSC since March 28, 2001 and its chairman since 2005.
Member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria.

Education
He graduated in Atomic Physics, Industrial Profile from the Faculty of Physics at Sofia University ahead of the term set. He has significant scientific activity and innovation practice as well as a number of specializations in the country and abroad.
Scientific Activity and Professional Experience
Having graduated from the university before the term set in 1971 he became a research fellow at the Scientific Research and Design Engineering Institute for Electronic Calculators. He was awarded with a Gold Medal for the development of a package of programs for programmable electronic calculators, implemented works for universal electronic calculation machines, minicomputers and microprocessors.
In 1975 he stood at the head of a department for the implementation of calculation machines and automation at the United Center of Physics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Form 1980 to 1989 he occupied the position of a deputy director in science in the established on the same basis Central Laboratory for Automation and Scientific Device Making at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. As a representative of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences he was a member of international workgroups in automation and designing calculation machines of a new generation. His work-out of a multiprocessor architecture of a module automation system was implemented in the Plant for Data Storage Devices, city of Plovdiv. It was presented in his thesis for acquired scientific grade Candidate of Technical Sciences.
In 1983 he became a Senior Research Associate at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. He wrote a number of scientific papers in the area of automation, system analysis, program software solutions and design of automation devices. He possesses author’s certificates for methods and devices in the area of computer equipment and automation protected with patents in the USA and European countries.
In 1989 he discontinued his scientific career and undertook private entrepreneurship in the area of innovation and high technologies. His activity is related to the development, production and implementation of software and hardware on specialized systems and software products.
He participated in the establishment and management of Bulgarian and foreign companies with activities in various industries and partnership of leading international companies.
Since 1997 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Assarel-Medet Sole JSC and since 1999 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Assarel-Invest JSC.
Since 1998 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Assarel-Medet Ltd.
He is a member of the Union of Mathematicians in Bulgaria, Association of Physicists in Bulgaria, Agency for Energy Efficiency in Sofia, Agency for Sustainable Development and European Integration.
