A high technology press filter was officially commissioned in the Assarel concentrator plant. On April 29, 2009 The Executive Director of Assarel-Medet JSC, Dr. eng. L. Tsotsorkov, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Lyudmil Lalov, cut the ribbon of the new acquisition.
The company bought a press filter of the latest generation under the large-scale project for operations modernization.
“During the last years Assarel-Medet invested more than 100 million US Dollars into a large-scale modernization of operations. Despite the difficulties, caused by the world financial and economic crisis, our policy for continuous improvements still continues. The projects for implementing new high technology equipment, ensuring the highest standard of environment protection and occupational safety remain our priority”, the Executive Director of Assarel-Medet stated at the commissioning ceremony.
